We have strict shipping policies in place to ensure the best trip and safe arrival of your new little one. We will, for no reason, stray from these policies.
All Live Shipments will ship for a flat rate of $45 for 2 day shipping, or $80 for overnight shipping. Alive Arrival Guarantee insurance means we Guarantee the LIVE Arrival of your pet jumping spider as long as ALL SHIPPING POLICIES ARE MET.
Ship Your Reptile is the safest and most economical shipping method. They strive to provide the best insurance and up to date shipping information for your little one's transit.
This is the absolute safest way for your little one to travel. You must bring your ID and tracking number to the hub when picking up. A FedEx employee will be keeping your little one safe until you arrive. If someone else will be picking up for you, please let me know so that I can include their legal name on the shipping label. Shipping can be very stressful on your new pet, but we take all precautions necessary to make sure your spooder arrives alive. All packaging is well insulated and ventilated. We also move our Adoptees into their going home enclosures weeks before departure so they have time to build a sturdy hammock for safe travels. Each travel cup contains plenty of harmless prey for your spider, a damp peice of cotton for them to drink from and soft cushioning for the trip.
If our local temperature, the arrival destination temperature, or the main hub your spider travels through is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit or above 100 degrees Fahrenheit we WILL NOT SHIP. Shipping will be delayed to the next safe shipping day and you'll be notified ASAP. We post weekly shipping updates on our FB page. We do not want to freeze or overheat the little ones while in transit.
We only use Ship Your Reptiles APPROVED packaging and label each package LIVE ANIMAL according to The Lacey Act. First, the box and insulation will be ventilated. Next, if needed, a heat or cold pack will be prepared. Then, we will securely package any enclosure or accessories at the bottom. Next, your spood will be tucked in nice and tight to prevent bumps along the way. Lastly, packages are sealed, then labeled, and brought to our local FedEx hub for takeoff.
Ship Your Reptiles is a third party vendor that provides Live Arrival Guarantee Insurance for all of our shipments. They keep us in the loop on safe days to ship live animals as well as monitor the tracking of all of our shipments. If a shipment is delayed for any reason, they will jump quickly into action to help. Because of this we adhere strictly to their policies on when it IS and IS NOT safe to ship live animals.
You will be able to track your jumpers travels up to delivery.
